Archive.org links
[edit]Why are you doing a wholesale removal of archive.org links? The links allow access even when the original link is inaccessible. If the link is not dead there is still usually no reason to remove the archive.org link - it can and should be preserved as an alternative so that the link will still be available if/when the original link becomes unavailable. Removing them doesn't seem helpful, unless I'm missing some logic in your actions. See Help:Using the Wayback Machine -- Begoon 08:13, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
Please stop these removals until you've responded to this message and clarified your reasons. Thank you. -- Begoon 08:32, 11 December 2019 (UTC)

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is Persistent removal of content - rejected at AIV, so bringing here. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 14:25, 19 December 2019 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. You need to stop removing links to archive.org or other archival websites. We keep these in case the original page becomes inaccessible for any reason. Even if the page is currently not inaccessible, we want to have the archive.org link there now. Please do not remove such links again. —Kusma (t·c) 16:32, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
