I've listed a couple of your articles for deletion as they appear to be copyright violations to me. See: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aeronautics Defense Systems - Orbiter and the tags on the appropriate articles. - Dammit 10:53, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Most of it is nicely explained here: Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. Particularly the sections on How to ask for permission (it also includes what licenses are required for the text and images) and the one about When permission is confirmed which is about proving that you are allowed to use the content. You can revert my blanking of the articles when you have done that.
After that is fixed, a second problem arises. Since you are an employee of the company that makes the UAVs you have to be extra careful to write from a neutral point of view. This was the reason Aeronautics Defense Systems - Orbiter was nominated for deletion, it looked more like an advertisement than an article.
Furthermore, you might want to look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Aircraft. They have some nice suggestions on how to build up an article about aircraft: Wikipedia:WikiProject Aircraft/page content and other information that might be helpful when writing the articles. Anyway, if you need any more information feel free to ask. - Dammit 11:42, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: followup question

[edit]

Just removing the pics is not enough, since there's no way to prove that the text isnt copyrighted. Posting a GDFL license as you suggested would fix all problems though, since that would be the best evidence there is.

As for the Top I Vision casper 250 article, I'll look into it when I'm back on broadband internet (on dialup now), but the reason it wasn't flagged as copyright violation is that it probably just wasnt read by someone looking/caring about stuff like that. Wikipedia is as you know maintained by everyone, but as long as noone looks if something is a copyright violation it wont be flagged as such. The reason I flagged your articles was because I checked the source website when I was categorizing em (and I found the ...... notation in the specs rather odd). - Dammit 17:00, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Commercial links.

[edit]

Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thanks. Orphaned non-free image (Image:AILogo.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:AILogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 21:12, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Magal Security Systems, by Avalerion (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Magal Security Systems fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:

blatant company advertising

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Magal Security Systems, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 21:28, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
