It looks like you have been able to find a good area to expand on the topic. I realize these are small changes but maybe consider changing the sentence, "These are; fluidics, optics, sorting." Also the comma in "lower energy, longer wavelength." could maybe be changed to "and" or something like that. It also might help to put citations to your references in the appropriate places.
