Information icon Hello, I'm Meters. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sears, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Meters (talk) 23:23, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Sears, you may be blocked from editing. Stop doing this. We cite an April ref, with data as of that date. Your new ref is not even consistent with the number of stores you claim remain open Meters (talk) 00:27, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Sears. How many times do we have to go over this? If we cite a reference as of a particular date, you cannot change the claim without providing a new source. Meters (talk) 03:28, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You are going to get yourself blocked if you keep making these unsourced or incorrect edits to retail articles. You did not provide a source to verify that the Sears at Westfield Southcenter closed today. The source we cite says that the closure was scheduled for today. And Sears Holdings was not "consolidated" into Transformco. Meters (talk) 03:38, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It Just closed today. No news arricles / sources out about this yet Anonymouswikiuser929 (talk) 03:50, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Then don't add it until there are sources. How many times do I have to point out to you that you cannot makes claims that are not supported by the cited sources? There's no rush to change "scheduled to close on such and such a date" to "closed on such and such a date", but there is a real problem with claiming that it did close on that date with a source that says it is scheduled to close then, which is what you are doing. And similarly, if our source says that as of November 24 there are X stores, you cannot change the claim to X-1 stores as of December while still using the same source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Meters (talkcontribs) 03:59, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
