Why this page

Namespace

Andrewa, I meant to bring this up earlier, but I really think this ought to be a userspace essay. While it's noted on the page, "In that all pages belong to the whole project, any user may edit this one," the reality is that you are the only person who's edited or cited this page. Since it has not had any input from the wider community, it would be best to treat this as a personal viewpoint and move it to Userspace. --Paul_012 (talk) 16:50, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The "reality" is that it has been cited hundreds of times, and even the first fifty incoming links include ones created by other editors.

But I'm not at all averse to userfying this provided that the the resulting redirects are kept. I just do not see any point in doing it. Andrewa (talk) 21:52, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the response. I only saw thirty-seven incoming links, but I did indeed miss one instance of another user citing it. In any case, I'll go ahead and move the page to User:Andrewa/Trivially more concise. Agree with leaving a redirect in order not to break links. --Paul_012 (talk) 13:46, 19 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
