SEMI-RETIRED

Due to real-life events, I am physically not in a state to be able to rapidly edit like I have been doing in 2024 to February 2025. I'll still edit occasionally, finish up ongoing DYKs, watch them run, but you'll see me far less often for the time being. I have regained a usable editing device, but I'm only getting busier in real life compared to 2024.

Hi @AlphaBetaGamma hope you're doing ok. I came across Draft:Council for a Secure America and would like to have a go at resubmitting another draft. @AlphaBetaGamma Great! Thank you. I was working on it in google docs as I first wanted to see if there was enough material and sources. I believe there is but having said this, if the reviewer feels differently, than obviously that's their call. Should I click on the "ask for advice" button that's on the draft article? The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than 1 month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 June 2025 through 30 June 2025.

Hmm, the article appears to be "protected", which means that you have to be autoconfirmed to be able to edit them. Articles are semi-protected for several different reasons, and this list here is protected due to disputes surrounding population counts for China and India. Either way, you should meet the requirements to bypass this protection relatively quickly (some days since account creation and 10+ edits), so don't worry about it too much.
