Transition (Computer Science)

Transition refers to an informal paradigm in the context of communication systems which describes the transition between mechanisms, ie functions of a communication system, in particular service and protocol components. In a transition, functionally comparable mechanisms within a communication system are converted into one another. The aim is to ensure the highest possible quality and quality of service.
