Your submission at Articles for creation: Atari Explorer (December 20)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by QEnigma was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of books). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Please refer to WP:BOOKCRIT. Insufficient references. Require WP:RS and WP:IS for WP:V.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Atari Explorer is one of the longest published magazines in a long line of magazines that cover Atari computers (one of the top 4 brands behind PC, Mac and Commodore). The references includes links to the actual magazine including ISSN number. I will continue to expand the article in the coming weeks but perhaps it's in the wrong category. What is the category for 1980s and 1990s computer magazine media? 66.128.10.58 (talk) 15:02, 20 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The comment the reviewer left was:
(Almost) all sources are primary and while they may be used as sources of information, they should not be based on them, and they do not contribute towards notability. I suggest reading WP:BOOKCRIT.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
