If sources, including the one that's cited in the article, say he was born in Lahore, you shouldn't simply change it because you believe something different. If it's properly sourced then proper sources saying something else would need to be provided before it's changed. Since the existing source is good, you'd be advised to raise the issue on the talk page first. As for restoring your edit after I removed it, see WP:BRD.
