Actually, all three changes this user made there look good to me:

There was no reason I see for us to be using HTML entities for " quote marks (and it doesn't seem to be a thing normally done on Wikipedia nor suggested in the WP:MOS anywhere I can find); changing that makes the wikitext more readable with no downside.
Tweaking the to Connolly's clarifies that Bad Little Girls Die Horrible Deaths and Other Tales of Dark Fantasy is specifically a collection of Connolly's works, not a collection of stuff by multiple authors that Connolly happens to have a story in.
The content removed about The Twisted Path is literally just the plagiarised blurb of the book; you can google it to confirm this but it's also kinda obvious just from the style of the writing. Certainly it's not encylopedic in its writing style or its content.
