[edit] Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from George Plantagenet, Duke of Clarence. When removing a maintenance template, please either ensure that the problem that the template refers to has been resolved, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as this change has been reverted. Take a look at getting started to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Celia Homeford (talk) 10:13, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Bastard feudalism, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Peaceray (talk) 17:03, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to remove maintenance templates without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Whittington Castle, you may be blocked from editing. Peaceray (talk) 17:05, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Peaceray. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you unlinked one or more redlinks from Whittington Castle and Most Haunted. Redlinks are useful and can often be helpful, so we don't remove them just because they are red. They help improve Wikipedia by attracting editors to create needed articles.
In addition, clicking on the "What links here" link (in the tools listed at the left in desktop view) on a missing article shows how many—and which—articles depend on that article being created. This can help prioritize article creation. Please only remove a redlink if you are pretty sure that it is to a non-notable topic and not likely ever to be created. Thanks! You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Wars of the Roses. Peaceray (talk) 17:10, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at Late Middle Ages. Peaceray (talk) 17:12, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Johan Huizinga did not have an edit summary. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary, or by discussion on the Talk page. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. When logged in to your Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button.
Thanks! Peaceray (talk) 17:13, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
