Edit warring at The Good Place and The Good Place (season 4)
[edit]Hello! I wanted to reach out to you regarding the recent edits you have been making to articles about The Good Place. You have been pushing for articles to list the episode count at 52 instead of 53. Those edits have been reverted, but you keep adding the information back. Please note that this has led to several violations of the three-revert rule. I would like to encourage you to view the discussion at Talk:The Good Place to see other users' rationale and, if you would like, to present your argument in a public forum for the community to discuss. However, if your edits continue and you do not wish to participate in a proper discussion about this, other steps may be necessary to deescalate the situation. Thanks! actually Talk pages are available to IP editors who are not logged in
[edit]Regarding your claim here that IP editors cannot access Talk pages, that's ridiculous, since there are scads of Talk pages where IP editors participate in discussions and I personally just tried opening The Good Place talk page and, unsurprisingly, was able to access the Talk page for editing. I even made you a screenshot to show you.
Per WP:STATUSQUO, revert your edits to The Good Place and The Good Place (season 4) and gain consensus for your changes before you make them again. Refusal to discuss your proposed changes and continued edit warring will get you banned. —Joeyconnick (talk) 05:49, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
Continued disruptive editing
[edit]Hello. Wikipedia operates on the basis of both reliable sourcing and consensuss. Your continued attempts to assert that your preferred episode count for The Good Place should stand violates prior established consensus. Therefore, continued attempts to insert your preferred version in violation of consensus also violates Wikipedia policies. If you have a problem with the current consensus, work to change it through productive efforts in talk page dscussions. If your edit-warring attempts continue in this regard, that also violates this policy, and may result in a suspension and/or termination of editing privileges if it continues. Please consider your condcut carefully with that in mind. Thanks. --Jgstokes (talk) 08:13, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
- Please stop your disruptive editing. If you do not do so, any further attempt by you to assert your preferred version of content may next be referred to Wikipedia administrators for potential disciplinary action. I urge you to be part of the solution rather than part of the problem. You have one more chance to take up this matter on the talk page, and you'd be wise to take it. If you fail to do so, your continued attempts to disrupt pagee content are a clear violation of Wikipedia policy, and will be referred to the admins for potential disciplinary measures, which include (but may not be limted to) a temporary or permanent block of editing privileges. Final warning. --Jgstokes (talk) 20:20, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
