[edit] Hello, I'm ApexParagon. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Hamas is a recognized terrorist organization 2601:645:8001:E70:DC1C:5AB9:650:E6E1 (talk) 01:25, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- Some countries designate it as a terrorist organization, but nowhere near all. Not even every reliable source describes it as such. And if you do consider Hamas a terrorist organization, changing “Hamas fighters” to “Hamas terrorists” would be unnecessary and redundant. ApexParagon (talk) 01:29, 26 April 2025 (UTC)

- neutral point of view is recognizing them for what they are, terrorists, rapists, and murderers. Please educate yourself on the subject, not just on Oct 7, 2023 terrorist attacks but on history of this terrorist organization 2601:645:8001:E70:DC1C:5AB9:650:E6E1 (talk) 01:38, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- That is your personal opinion of what Hamas is. Not everyone shares that opinion.
- “Terrorist” is not a neutral term, and there is not a unanimous consensus that Hamas counts as a terrorist organization. I am aware of October 7, and a significant amount of the population views that as self-defense against Israeli occupation rather than a terrorist attack. Not saying that view’s correct, but it’s what a significant amount of sources and people say. Your opinion is not the default, and should not be treated as such. (Theirs is also not the default.) - Also, if you do think Hamas is a terrorist organization, saying “Hamas terrorists” would be redundant. It’s just not a necessary addition either way. “Hamas fighters” is neutral enough. ApexParagon (talk) 01:54, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
