[edit] Hello, I'm Discospinster. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Nicholas Francis (judge), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ... discospinster talk 19:24, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Nicholas Francis (judge). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. ... discospinster talk 19:30, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
Child trafficking case
[edit]I prefer to be anonymous but I would like you to leave the changes alone 2600:1016:B02A:6105:ED53:CD0:C9F0:5F98 (talk) 19:33, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- No, you need to provide a source. ... discospinster talk 19:45, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- In which way? Do you want case number? Pages from the case? What? Tell me what and I will do it 24.239.233.228 (talk) 19:55, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- What is the case about? If it is about child trafficking then surely there will be news articles about it. ... discospinster talk 20:15, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- No news articles.. yet. I have tried being quiet and discreet, child trafficking is a serious and very sensitive subject. I have case documents and other forms of proof. 24.239.233.228 (talk) 20:19, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- If you are trying to argue that a case which is ostensibly about adoption is really about child trafficking, Wikipedia is not the place to do it. (And how would putting it on Wikipedia be "quiet and discreet"?) ... discospinster talk 20:33, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- I am not trying to do any such thing. As I stated above “I have tried to be quiet and discreet.” That is no longer an option. What would you call it? Judge presides over an adoption of a young man who is about to be 4. He has been a ward of state since 2020 when he was ILLEGALLY taken into the United Kingdom’s jurisdiction from America illegally. And was taken by border control? Is that not trafficking? 24.239.233.228 (talk) 20:52, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- Are there reliable sources that describe the case as child trafficking? If not, then it's not something that is appropriate to add to a Wikipedia article. ... discospinster talk 20:57, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- Yes there are. 24.239.233.228 (talk) 21:04, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- Court documents, declarations made in court, etc… 24.239.233.228 (talk) 21:05, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- I mean is the case in fact, as per the court documents, an actual case involving child trafficking, where someone has been charged with this particular crime, or even a civil lawsuit claiming damages for child trafficking? ... discospinster talk 22:21, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
- @how can I send you a link 24.239.233.228 (talk) 00:43, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
- I don't need a link, you can just answer the question. ... discospinster talk 16:33, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
