Editing on Talk:4-HO-MET and 4-HO-MET

[edit]

Hey, I just wanted you to know that I deleted your edits on Talk:4-HO-MET and 4-HO-MET. The fact that your lab is studying the chemical is irrelevant to understanding the subject matter, and especially shouldn't be included in the article since it is not backed up by reliable third-party sources. Talk pages are for discussing how to improve articles, and your section did not appear to suggesting any edits that could be made that could be backed by a reliable source. In fact, it seemed to me a little bit like promotion of your company, so that's why I deleted it. You should review Wikipedia's guidelines on WP:Promotion, and the WP:Talk page guidelines. Also, the fact that you refer to the lab you're writing about in first-person plural ("we") indicates that there may be a WP:Conflict of interest, so you should probably read that policy as well. Basically, you should wait to edit until this lab has actually discovered something about 4-HO-MET and published that result in a third-party peer-reviewed publication, and then it may be reasonable to include that finding in the article.
