About Penny For Many
[edit]It’s a Dhaka-based voluntary organization. Primarily they started their free schooling program in Mirpur-11 for supporting the underprivileged children of these area. Also, they are providing the helpless and deprived people with food and other daily commodities from the very beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. They have also made many peoples life sustainable through our livelihood project. Also, they are working in many sectors such as Food, Health, Water & sanitation, Zakat management, Child care & Girls rights, Qurbani, Iftar, Shelter management etc. Penny For Many provides free quality education/academic coaching to the underprivileged and poor children. Those children who do not get the chance to continue their study from their childhood. As a result, they dropped out before finishing the primary level. Whenever a child loses his/her right to education, nourishment and other necessary privileges, the nation also loses its potential to grow. Parents who cannot fulfill the basic needs of families make their young children work on the streets, shops and even in houses. The bright future of them shatters this way. They have to face a lot all over the day, which gives a negative impact on their personality psychologically. So, PFM took an initiative to provide educational and other necessary privileges to the underprivileged children till now.
Penny For Many has started the journey to ensure the basic education to the underprivileged children. They are providing full Free Quality Education, free School Uniform, free Books, Notes and stationeries, daily nutritious food, yearly Sports, free Medical Health Checkup and free Medicines. They have a total 6 qualified teachers per subject and other members for ensuring the proper care of our students. Gradually, now they have a total of 200 students in our school. Basically, their students are from those poor houses of the nearest the slums, whose parents work for a very low income, such as driving a rickshaw or working in someone’s house. Till now Penny For Many has supported total 21000+ beneficiaries, including 4500 families, made 600+ people self-reliant, ensure proper education for 400 children & orphans via their many projects.
