Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche (b. 1953) — full name Kyabje Tsikey Chokling Mingyur Dewey Dorje ^[1] is Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche's second son who is recognized reincarnation of Chokgyur Lingpa by the 16th Karmapa. Together with his older brother, Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, he was educated at Rumtek Monastery, in Sikkim, which is also the seat of the Karmapa in exile. In 1975, both lamas joined their father, Tulku Urgyen in Kathmandu, Nepal and established the Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery where he now resides.

Life

He is a tertön and lay practitioner married with a wife and four children. His oldest son has been recognized by His Holiness the Dalai Lama as the 7th Phakchok Rinpoche, is an important tulku of the Taklung Kagyü lineage ^[2].

His youngest son was recognized by Kyabje Trulshik Rinpoche as the reincarnation of the renown great teacher of teachers (including HH the 14th Dalai Lama himself) Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Khyentse Yangsi Rinpoche.
