Convertigo, a software independent software vendor operating in Europe and in the United States, is headquartered in Paris, France. Operating principally in Europe and USA, the company does business from its office located in San Francisco. Convertigo currently employs twenty-five people.
History
[edit]Convertigo was created in 2009 first as a composite application platform, Auriga Partners invested $4.5 million in the company.[1]
- In 2010, Convertigo launched the first composite application platform operating on the Cloud as stated in the "Le Monde" journal.[2]
- In 2011 Convertigo, decided to adopt an OpenSource Strategy and published Convertigo Community Edition on Sourceforge, therefore contributing to some open source projects such as GateIn with exo platform and RedHat [3]
- In 2013, foreseeing the rise of Low Code technology, the company developed on top of its existing Low Code back end server a complete MBaaS [4] (Mobile Back end as a Service) providing back-end connectivity, and persistence as well as off-line data to mobile applications. Mobile application accesses the Convertigo platform's back-end services using SDKs providing APIs for all popular mobile OS. such as iOS, Android and of course Web based mobile apps based on PWA (Progressive Web Apps).
- In 2016, continuing in the Mobile experience, Convertigo expanded its platform to the Low Code front-end part, releasing the first Full Stack (Front & back-end) Open Source Low Code on the market and publishes its source code on GitHub [1]
- In 2019, Convertigo integrated Gartner Studies rated as "Honorable Vendor" for its unique open source non vendor lock-in position on the Low Code platform market.
- in 2020, Convertigo launches its No-Code product called Form Builder, providing a complete "Google Forms" like product but running on premises or on the cloud and integrated to the Enterprise's security. Form Builder also integrates with Enterprise applications through numerous connectors to back-end systems including Mainframes and SAP.

Convertigo Low Code Platform is listed in the MXDP [5] (Multi eXperience Development Platform) space in Gartner Studies. Convertigo Low Code technologies targets large Enterprises for professional developers (Convertigo Studio Low code) & Citizen developers (Form Builder No Code).
Convertigo Studio & Mobile Builder
[edit]Convertigo Studio allows developers to build their applications. The studio provides a friendly Drag & Drop interface to create pages, flows, and back end processing using a Low Code approach. A key functionality of Convertigo Studio is that developers can at any time introduce their own code to extend or to integrated external components to their apps. In this way, Convertigo Low Code technology never limits a developer in its creativity. In the same way, developers can also tweak very precisely their UIs to design pixel perfect apps.
Convertigo Server
[edit]Convertigo Server executes the Low Code applications developed in Convertigo Studio. The server is based on latest salable technologies such as Kubernetes and can be installed on premises or on the cloud. Convertigo Server provides all the back end services for the Web & Mobiles apps including connectors to enterprise applications, openid, oauth & LDAP integration and a unique data sync for mobile off line applications called FullSync(r)
Convertigo Cloud
[edit]Convertigo cloud provides all services needed for Enterprises to deploy Low Code application and No Code Forms on a Secured and monitored Cloud "Platform as a Service" (PaaS). Convertigo Cloud is a Multi tenant platform where each customer is isolated from the others.
Convertigo Form Builder
[edit]Convertigo Form Builder no-code technology enables Citizen developers with no technical knowledge to create form-based apps and to publish them to work-groups. The created apps can work off-line thanks to Convertigo FullSync (r) technology.
