Mario Chavez aka. boyandroses

Mario Chavez (born June 21, 2000 in (Sahuayo, Michoacan) is a currently a concert, portrait photographer in Santa Ana, CA. He currently lives in Orange County and runs a Creative Visionaries photography program for youth.

Mario is known as boyandroses. His name is inspired by Tupac's quote The Rose That Grew From Concrete.

Personal Life

Chavez graduated from Valley High School class of 18'. Mario disccused on iHeartRadio^[1] the current issues that youth face in urban communities. He also been featured in a variety of other articles "NUESTROS SOÑADORES: Mario Chávez es un ‘Dreamer’ preocupado por quienes pasan hambre"^[2] by Excelsior. "Mario Chávez tiene 17 años. Es un estudiante “Dreamer” de Valley High School y sabe a la perfección que México y Estados Unidos necesitan puentes de entendimiento y no muros, como pretende el presidente Donald Trump," a quote from The Excelsior article. Also featured in iampossible in 2017, Mario shares his story about growing through adversity.

Projects

The Roses That Grew From The Concrete was community lead event, Mario helped by representing the youth of Santa Ana.

Promoting local upcoming artist Mario organized RUNUP SESH^[3] in 2018.
