The 2024-2025 is the current school year, taking place between the 2023-2024 and 2025-2026 school years. In the southern hemisphere, it’s currently the 2025 school year, with their back-to-school season being in full swing as of 1/29/2025.
In the northern hemisphere hemisphere, the school year began in late summer of 2024, and will conclude this spring. (late spring of 2025)
Many American school districts adopted the school year span from August 2024-June 2025, while others adopted the classic September-June school year.
