The RMAS Freedom was a Royal airship built in 1919 and was bombed 6 times by the Luftwaffe estimated. The ship was shot down off the centered coast in Isle of Wight the ship sunk in the water as she went down. After the 780 foot long ship sunk into the water many pieces of hull and wreckage floated above the water and a plume of jet black smoke shot up against the water killing 10 nearby civilians watching the disaster. The smoke was so huge a explosion of mixed stirred up kerosene and fire blew up igniting a terrifying explosion in the air the explosion was so powerful it was heard in Southampton to London. It even knocked down 3 Luftwaffe bombers. After the disaster the site was in a black isle of ash there was still fire on the water too. No one aboard survived either, killing 140 people.
