Terry Steele

Terry Steele is an American rock singer and musician from 1990, who released the album King of Hearts, performing lead and backing vocals on all the songs and all the instruments on "My Prayer". He cites singers Dionne Warwick, Anita Pointer (The Pointer Sisters), Luther Vandross (whom he thanks for "...making my song 'Here and Now' #1."), and Barry White as his influences. Steele got his big break when his manager, Ollie E. Brown, convinced producer Charles Koppelman to listen to Steele sing a capella at his office.

Other notable musicians and singers with whom Steele collaborated on his album include Phillip Bailey (Earth, Wind, and Fire), Paul Jackson, Jr., Ray Parker, Jr., Patrice Rushen, Maxine Waters, Julia Waters (The Waters Sisters), Mic Murphy (The System), James Ingram, and Howard Hewett.

Steele lives in California and is married with a daughter, Bianca.
