Program of scholarships in the University of Manchester for Mexican student was created in 2009 thanks to colaboration between University of Manchester and Conacyt, which is a government organization in Mexico City. The people can do studies of postgraduate. But the program born of the necessity of have professional prepared in the engineering areas. In the first time in 2009, fourteen students graduates of the Instituto Politecnico Nacional came to University of Manchester. They are part of the Bioengineering Group. In 2010 the program expanded to other Mexican universities and now here are more students in the areas of Computer, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Civil, Mechatronics. In the coming years is hoped that more students will obtain a place in the University Manchester.
