Hi. If you have come to this page it appears that an editor has accused me of some combination of the following:

• pov pushing
• bad faith
• personal attacks
• harassment
• wikilawyering
• Bogus or improper administrative reports

And/or is urging that I be

• blocked
• warned
• banned

As an active editor who has dealt with some thorny conflicts, I have been the target of various accusations. Many of those have historically turned out to be the work of a small number of notorious sockpuppet operators and other problem editors, who found that making "tit-for-tat" or retaliatory accusations was an effective way to avoid detection and action.

If you were sent here via a templated link, I categorically deny all accusations made other than those I specifically acknowledge, and state for the record that I am acting with the best of intentions to improve the encyclopedia, and maintain stability and a collegial editing environment. I think carefully before engaging in process, and try my hardest to do the right thing. I am of course not perfect, and am willing to listen to good faith, civil suggestions for improvement. If I do run afoul of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines with respect to process and behavior, I am eager to improve. At the same time, I wish neither to let unfounded accusations sit, nor get involved in a debate about myself in a forum where the topic is something else.

I hope you will understand that I have chosen to minimize my direct response to accusations that I consider unfair. But do feel free to leave a friendly note on my talk page if you would like to discuss further.
