The Mayans were a tribe of people from thousands of years ago. They made lots of things like Schools, Chocolate,Basketball,sports arenas, hospitals and lots more. They also made maths.When they were living in there temples the Spanish came over and fought them to try to take over. However it wasn't really fair because the Spanish had guns but the Mayans had nothing. No-one knows what happened to the Mayans and how they died. Many people think that they are crazy and they hadn't got a clue what they were doing but other people think that they were very special that they made this much things that we have now.
