grocery CRUD is an open-source PHP Codeigniter library. This library manage the CRUD operations with fewer lines of code than created from scratch. It was founded by John Skoumbourdis in April 2010.

Since the release of grocery CRUD version 1 the community has rapidly grown and a large amount of user contributed code and languages translations of the library. The library is translated in 24 languages by the contributors
