"Moulana Mushtaq Ahmad Khan" born on 19th april 1951 in Seer-Hamdan area of Anantnag of South KASHMIR was known to masses for diffrent reasons. He rose to fame as Religious SCHOLAR, an orator and a poet. But His personal life equally deserves due consideration. His life can serve as for all or any. Moulana was infuritated & responded exasperatedly saying that "CHARACTER ASSIASSINATION HAS NO PLACE IN MUSLIM ETIQUETTES". He added "IF YOU ARE AMOUNG MY WELL-WISHERS , REFRAIN FROM CASTING ASPERATIONS ON OTHERS". He was president of "ANJUMAN TABLEEGUL ISLAM" for South KASHMIR for very a long-time, which is a very old religious party of Kashmir started by great religious leader called as Bukhari Sahab. MOULANA spended his whole life on spreading of DEEN-i-MOHAMMED(saw), and did the same till end. He was called as SHERI-HANFI. He was also famous with MUSHTAQ SEERI name in many areas of Kashmir. He also wrote a NAAT-BOOK name as Atiskada ISHQ which became quite famous all over the kashmir and its naats were heared almost in every Mosque of Kashmir. On 19th feb a great spritual leader, mentor, Teacher, passed away leaving a void never to be filled.
