This is a draft. Please help document the work (IETF, TBL, W3C, etc.) on the next versions of HTTP and XML by chronologically writing it here. So we can move it into Wikipedia's article space as soon as possible.

The ReST architecture is implicitly suggesting that XML and HTTP are, in their scope, one and the same.
