Tia Nolan
[edit]Chicagoan Tia Nolan has made great strides in the film industry as a prevalent female editor. She was first immersed in this field by her father who worked in advertising and brought her to commercial shoot the experience she gained from her father led her to pursue that field of editing [1]and later on Nolan attended USC film school. Nolan mentions in an interview with Matthew Toffolo[1] that she worked with people such as Richard Marks, James L. Brooks, and Nora Ephron. She also worked with Will Gluck who helped her with comedic editing and pacing. So far, Nolan has been nominated for two awards and has 36 and counting editing credits.
