History

[edit]

The residence on Ellsworth Avenue was purchased my Pittsburgh Friends in April 1966. The three-story stone building was constructed around 1902. A new owner in 1916 added a large art gallery to the southeast corner of the building. In 1936, the building was repurposed into a boarding house called The Greystone, and the former gallery became the dining room. This room now serves as the meeting room for worship.[3]
