EuresTools is a modular suite of Web-based applications for the management of collaborative research and development projects. The applications have been adapted to the special requirements of European research projects under programmes like the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) and EUREKA Clusters like, for example, CELTIC. In contrast to private projects, these programmes have special requirements when it comes to project management tasks like reporting and documenting effort and resources.
The modules of EuresTools include applications for managing resources, information, and communication in European research projects with geographically distributed researchers and laboratories. The distributed nature of European research projects in combination with strict requirements for data protection have created a niche market for specialised project management software like EuresTools.
EuresTools is provided as an application service by the private European R&D organisation Eurescom.
