Michael Peck, born March 21, 1970, begins his fourth year as the Head Coach for the Findlay Prep high school basketball team at The Henderson International School in Henderson, Nevada located just outside of Las Vegas. Peck has been touted as one of the nation's "best high school basketball coaches" holding a remarkable head coaching career record of 115-3.

In three seasons at Findlay Prep, Coach Peck is 95-3 and has led the Findlay Pilots to compete in three national championship games. In 2009-2010, Peck steered Findlay Prep to claim its second consecutive National Championship title in as many years. In 2008-2009, Peck led Findlay to an undefeated season (33-0)and topped the season by dethroning long-time high school basketball powerhouse Oak Hill Academy in the National Championship Game broadcast on ESPN. In just his first year as head coach at Findlay, Peck coached the team to a 32-1 record along with a National Prep School Runner-Up title.

In his four years with the program, Peck has had 21 student-athletes graduate and qualify for NCAA Division I athletic eligibility. 21 of those student-athletes are currently attending NCAA Division I programs; University of Texas, University of Illinois, Miami (OH), University of New Hampshire, Fresno State University, University of California-Berkeley, University of Kentucky, Florida State University, UNLV, University of New Mexico, Cal State Fullerton, LMU and University of San Francisco.

Peck came to Findlay College Prep from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where he served for three years under the tutelage of legendary coaches Charlie Spoonhour and Lon Kruger. He served as the Video Coordinator for the men’s basketball program during his time at UNLV. He was involved in all aspects of the men’s program; video editing and game breakdown, on-campus recruiting, player development, summer camp coordination and numerous administrative tasks.

Prior to UNLV, Peck was the top assistant men's basketball coach at(Division II)Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, Michigan from 1998-2003 where he served under his former college coach Dean Lockwood (currently University of Tennessee Women’s Basketball Assistant under Pat Summit.) Prior to SVSU, Peck served as top assistant men's basketball coach at his alma mater, Northwood University in Midland, Michigan from 1997-98. During these stints Peck’s primary areas of responsibility were recruiting, on-floor coaching and player development.

Peck started his coaching career in 1995-96 where he lead the junior varsity boy’s basketball coach at Gaylord St. Mary Cathedral High School in Gaylord, Michigan to an unprecendented undefeated season (20-0).

Peck played college basketball(1989-1993)and was a four–year letter winner and two-time academic All-American at Northwood University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1993. He received his Master’s degree in education from Saginaw Valley State University in 1998. Peck and his wife, Terri, have 2 children, Madison(11yr)and Gavin (1yr)and reside in Las Vegas, NV.
