The Vermont Catamounts men's lacrosse team represents University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. The Catamounts are coached by Chris Feifs and play their home games at Virtue Field. Vermont currently competes as a member of the American East Conference.

History

Vermont began its men's lacrosse program for the 1978 season.^[2] The Catamounts have been to the NCAA tournament two times, in 2021 and 2022. Vermont was America East champions in 2021 and 2022, earning the conference's automatic bid. The Catamounts have been America East runner-ups in 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2024.

At the 2021 NCAA tournament, Vermont lost in the first round to Maryland 17-11. In the 2022 NCAA tournament, the Catamounts defeated Manhattan in the play-in game before losing to Maryland again 21-5 in the first round.
