I am currently active.

About Me

I am a plebe at The United States Military Academy. My interests revolve around computers, music, and athletics. For the most part, I use Wikipedia as a way to procrastinate; this does not mean I do not take Wikipedia seriously.

Music

From age 10 until 16 I performed extensively with my sister Phyllis and in an assortment of church and school-run musical groups. My preferred instrument is bass guitar, but I play guitar, drums, and sing as well.

Webcomics

I am addicted to webcomics. My friends say it's unhealthy, but I disagree. I am subscribed to or check daily Toothpaste For Dinner, Married to the Sea, Natalie Dee, Dino Comics, XKCD, Exploding Dog, The Perry Bible Fellowship, ~~Animals Have Problems Too~~ (Author has gone on a permanent hiatus), and ~~Rice Boy~~ (The saga has reached its conclusion). I used to check Dilbert and Pearls Before Swine daily as well, but stopped after becoming frustrated by all of the pop-up advertisements.

Contributions

As a Wikignome, I primarily make minor edits. My sole major rewrite was Week 17 of the 2007 New England Patriots season.

Outside of Wikipedia

I've authored and acted as webmaster for three sites: two incarnations of diamondrockmusic.com which have both been replaced by PhyllisHeitjan.com. I edit with Adobe Dreamweaver CS 3 and upload with SecureFX. Images are edited using an arbitrary combination of Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Fireworks CS3. I have worked with Flash in the past, but I have found that I don't have the patience to work with animations or ActionScript.
