[edit]Timothy attended Chambersburg Area Senior High School in the graduation class of '77. During his time at CASHS, he also attended Franklin CTC as a student in the Electronics program. Post High-school Timothy then attended Penn State University from 2000 to 2007 for a Bachelors of Science and Work Force Education and Development. He finished this course with a GPA of 3.9. Following this, Tim then attended University of Maryland Global Campus for a Master of Science - MS in Cybersecurity.
Early Career
[edit]Timothy Started his working career in Electronics Mechanics at Letterkenny Army Depot in September 1976. His duties took him to working on the Nuke Hercules, HAWK (Homing All-the-Way Killer), and Patriot missile systems. He had gained valuable experience in Maintenance, rebuilding, modifying, repairing, and testing these missile systems. He worked at Letterkenny Army Depot for 23 years and 10 months. Eventually leaving the organization in June of 2000.
Current Career
[edit]Since June of 2000, Timothy has been working at Franklin County Career and Technology Center as an instructor in Information Systems Technology. For the past 24 years and 5 months; Tim has taught CompTIA CertMaster (Formerly TestOut) courses, along with Cisco courses. All of these courses culminate in certifications for the students free of charge. His informal duties involve assistance in the Franklin CTC technology department.
Volunteer Work
[edit]From January of 1980 to January of 2003, Timothy volunteered as a Costumed Interpreter for the National Park Service. His work led him to provide park visitors with information on the role of the mounted services (Calvary) during the American Civil War.
Licenses and Certifications
[edit]Timothy has two current licenses and certifications. In August of 2006, CompTIA issued him the CompTIA Network+ Certification. Following to January 2019, Cisco Systems issued the Instructor 20 Years of Service accreditation.
Affiliated Organizations
[edit]Timothy is associated with CompTIA from January 2004 to Present. This is connected through his work at Franklin County Career and Technology Center. He is also associated with the Association for Career and Technical Education. He has been associated since August of 2000. This association is the largest national education association dedicated to the advancement of education that prepares youth and adults for careers.
