Haseena Nishad (born 1990) is an Indian entrepreneur based in the United Arab Emirates. She is the Managing Director of World Star Holding, a diversified business group specializing in manpower solutions, infrastructure development, facilities management, and real estate. Known for her advocacy of labor welfare and innovative corporate leadership, she is regarded as one of the most influential Indian women entrepreneurs in the Gulf region.
Early life and education
[edit]Haseena was born in 1990 in Kannur, Kerala, India. She completed her early education at Azhikode High School (2000–2003) and higher secondary studies at Government Higher Secondary School, Kannadipparamba (2003–2005). She later graduated with a degree in Commerce from the University of Calicut in 2009.
Career
[edit]In 2006, Haseena married Nishad Hussain, founder of World Star Holding, and moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2008. While initially focused on her family, she formally joined the business in 2014 after her children began attending school. Since then, she has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth, implementing welfare-centric initiatives that have garnered attention across the Gulf.
She introduced high-tech worker transportation vehicles equipped with air conditioning, television screens, and Wi-Fi, aiming to reduce stress among laborers and improve quality of life. These reforms earned her wide recognition for championing employee rights in the corporate sector.
