Founding
[edit]MONITORAPP was founded in 2005 in Seoul, South Korea by Kyle Lee.[1] The company's current name is a combination of the word 'monitor' and 'application', meaning that it monitors and protects web applications from cyber attacks. MONITORAPP, which uses core application security technology, has over 3,500 customers, including government agencies, financial institutions, large enterprises, and overseas customers. [2] [3]
Security R&D Center
[edit]Since MONITORAPP has its own research institute, independent technology research/development is possible. In addition, technical personnel account for about 70% of the total number of employees, or about 40 people. Within the research institute, the specialized high school linkage program, industry-academic cooperation program, and professional research personnel system (military service replacement program) are conducted and actively nurturing security personnel.
