Penny Byrne

Penny is an Australian Artist born in mil

Her work has been shown internationally including at The Venice Biennale 2015, with Coates and Scarry and at Saatchi Gallery, London 2014, and at Art Basel Hong Kong 2013. Byrne's most recent solo exhibition "Ettonez Moi", Fehily Contemporary, Melbourne in 2014, featured her larger than life bronze work "felled" which references both contemporary riot police and and her favourite sculpture the ancient Greek marble "The Dying Gaul."
