[edit]I chose this article because it is relevant to the class and something that I am interested in. I believe that this article matters because it is a popular scientific topic and a lot of people will rely on the information within the article. My preliminary impression was that this is a very long article, which makes sense. There is a lot of information on this topic.

[edit]I think this is a good wiki article. First thing that I did was look at the Talk page to see what some of the recent discussion was about and the recent edits that had been made. Next I skimmed the article and looked at the figures. The Lead Section is concise but explains the topic well. There are plenty of sources for the article.
