TouchCommerce is a privately held company based in Agoura Hills, CA with offices in London, Paris and San Diego. The company technology is based on its RightTouch platform that improves online customer experience and increases revenue and reduces support costs through a managed services focus.
History
[edit]TouchCommerce was founded in 1999 in Santa Barbara, CA as inQ, an affinity marketing sell-through software provider. In 2005, a new management group took over operations and focused it towards enterprise-level software sales. The company landed its first Fortune 200 telecommunications client as live support agents, website optimization services and conversion assistance.
In 2008, the company changed its name to TouchCommerce (6) to more accurately reflect its focus on eCommerce, Conversion Marketing and handling client chats. It has been infused with new funding (3,11) to help it add Fortune 500 clients, including 3 of the top 5 United States telecommunication companies. Examples of clients are Virgin Media(10), Comcast, DirecTV, Total Gym, Guthy-Renker, Numericable(7), Vodafone, Citizens Bank, Boygues(4), Disneyland Paris and Wyndham.
2010 saw another round of leaders join TouchCommerce to expand into new markets (9), including Europe. European clients are found in England Germany and France. TouchCommerce recently won the RedHerring Top 100 North America Award (1).
Products and Services
[edit]TouchCommerce developed a proprietary software system, RightTouch, which along with web analytics and big data analysis, provides tools such as: online chat, co-browse, online surveys, click-to-call, mobile, product selection, and personalization services.
