Oxbridge International School is accredited by the International Baccalaureate (IB). This program is distinctive in its focus on fostering independent thinking, critical skills, intercultural understanding, and global awareness among students from all-over the world. By the end of the school’s program, students earn an IBDP Diploma and can apply for a state-uzbek exam for an additional diploma
History
[edit]Established in 2018, The school has been dedicated to delivering a standard of education to students from kindergarten through to their final year. We take pride in being a global educational establishment where children from diverse nations come together to study, fostering a sense of tolerance and cultural comprehension. The school is unique in Tashkent by having four separate departments - kindergarten, PYP, MYP, DP. This makes the school one of the only schools in Uzbekistan with a full IB accreditation
Our Mission
[edit]The school is motivated to foster the growth of each student, enabling them to become global citizens who possess the ability to make responsible choices in an ever-evolving world. One of Oxbridge International School’s primary objectives is to prepare it’s students for the DP (Diploma Program) as well as readying students for further university studies in Uzbekistan or abroad.
Faculty and Staff
[edit]Oxbridge International School employs 40 teachers from 15 countries, such as Spain, Turkey, India, and South Africa. The school has 4 departments. In total, more than 600 children study at the school.
Facilities
[edit]There are 3 buildings on the campus - the IB school building, a kindergarten and administration. There are also three children's playgrounds, a basketball field and a football field. The school has two fully equipped laboratories, a library, a swimming pool and an indoor universal gym. Students from the 8th grade are given MacBooks, and the computer science classroom is equipped with IMacs. At the library, all children can borrow a tablet for work. The school grounds are surrounded by a fence, there are two entrances - for both school buildings.
