Introduction
[edit]The reason why i chose this article is because it is falls under my major and mainly because ive been very interested in organized crime. On my wiki and the edits and crontributions that i did for my article were not many but i feel like they could have a somewhat impactful contribution. I feel like the grade to get is between 90 to 100. The reason being is because i did do a lot of research and found many sources to add and i will continute to add to the wiki after the semester. i added a few citations and added bits of information to the article.

[edit]I've added a citation to a section where a citation was needed.
I have added a part of the section for Tax evasion with citation. I added a prime example of tax evasion anjd consequences.
ive added another citation to the part where organized crime groups had ties with buisnesses.
addedd to the talk page to hopefully get some people to help out with edits.
then ive also added a new part to the human trafficking section and also provided a citation.
ive added another citation to a section where it was needed.
Wikipedia, Generally
[edit]I have found many sources while i was doing the annotated bibliography. many sources that ive found did help out a lot while i was trying to improve and edit wikipedia. I have to say that the most valuable sources that i was able to locate and cite were articles that were published by the Federal Beurou of Investigation, or more likely known as their short acrinym FBI. The reason on why i say this is because their sources are clear, consise, and most importantly, free unlimited access to the general public. Luckly for most of thr things on my ab a lot of nte sources that i found to be useful and very reliable. I have learned a lot from conrtibuting on wikipedia and editing it to make it better is that wiki is not as bad as every one says. every one would always say that you could never really have any sort of trust in wiki or any thing that is relatdd to wiki articles. now that i have had some editing done to the article, i now know that not any one can really edit wiki just because they want to. there are many things that can go into editing. so no one can really edit important articles or really popular sites like for example sports teams or certain topics like companies and such things like that as well. the only articles a person can just create amd help improve and edit are either start class or. even c class. if you really know about the thing that you or a very very big fan of which ever article or topic that you are going to edit, you can really go ahead and edit a b class article. the only thing is that it might require you to become a higher level editor in order to be able to fiddle around with the article. I would say that editing wikipedia somehwat met what i thought i was gonna learn in the course of comp II. i was probably just expecting it to be very similar to college comp I i was excpecting more writing to be done like essays and things like that. editing wiki at firt was honeslty annoying but as soon as we started to get morr into detail i started to get miuch more intersrted in wiki. now iuve editied the article i feel and i am planning on adding and editing more to the article.
Personally, I have learned a lot from conrtibuting on wikipedia and editing it to make it better is that wiki is not as bad as every one says. the aspect that made it meaningful is that yuou can help fix these articoes and it will help the world out.
I would say that editing wikipedia somehwat met what I thought I was gonna learn in the course of comp II. I was probably just expecting it to be very similar to college comp I, I was excpecting more writing to be done like essays and things like that.
I personally i woudng change a hting becuase it was somewhat easy becayuse the topic made it very easy to find sources and very easy to write about.
