Project StoryTime
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Project StoryTime is an open-source, not-for-profit project, founded by 'kaiete' to distribute books to all, as is quoted in its motto 'Stories. For all. Forever'. Its source code can be found on GitHub, and it is under the MIT license. Some of its stories come from aragon-press.com, this also being founded by kaiete. It has a feature known as 'My StoryTime', allowing users to customise the interface of the website. My StoryTime's source code can be found on GitLab. Neither Aragon Press nor StoryTime are registered organisations. The sub-domain storytime.k.vu - StoryTime's URL - is hosted by Free DNS, a website allowing users to create up to 5 custom subdomains, and add their own domains for others to create subdomains of. StoryTime is hosted using GitHub Pages, a service that allows GitHub users to create static websites from repositories. Going to storytime.k.vu/my redirects to my-storytime.vercel.app, which saves user preferences in JavaScript LocalStorage to customise the site, to a point. my-storytime.vercel.app is hosted by Vercel, a similar service to GitHub Pages.
