[edit]Robyn DelMonte was born May 31st, 1994,[1] in Nashua, New Hampshire. She is an American social media personality and founder of GirlBossTown, a marketing, PR, and brandy strategy company. DelMonte graduated from Nashua High School before earning her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of New Hampshire.
She is known for her expertise in public relations and marketing, specifically on TikTok. She has accumulated over 600,000 followers on TikTok and 42,000 followers on Instagram. Vogue has referred to her as TikTok's public relations expert[2].

Early Life and Education
[edit]DelMonte graduated from Nashua High School North and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of New Hampshire in 2016[3]. She completed her post-grad at UCLA Anderson School of Management in a media management program[3].
DelMonte formerly worked as a waitress in Medford, Massachusetts. Later, she started her public relations and marketing career in 2015 with Warner Bros as an intern.[3] DelMonte struggled to find work in the creative industry and decided to start working a corporate 9-5 job.
Career

[edit]Before her rise to fame, DelMonte had worked in Marketing and Public Relations for seven years[3]. In an interview with DelMonte, she stated that she started to give up on her aspirations of working in the creative industry after struggling to find work or land an interview[4]. When DelMonte graduated University she worked in the corporate 9-5 world in an attempt to pursue a traditional PR career[5]. She moved out of New Hampshire to LA where she landed a few PR jobs; however, she started to develop a distaste for the environment and lifestyle[5]. DelMonte ended up moving back to New Hampshire and continued to waitress while also making content on TikTok as a hobby.
Rise to Fame on TikTok
[edit]In November 2020, DelMonte started posting marketing and creative direction content to her TikTok account for her favourite brands and celebrities. Her popularity surged in September 2021 after she posted videos reviewing the 2021 Met Gala looks from her couch. From there, she started a series called "PR Moves," where she offered suggestions for celebrities and brands on how they could improve their PR strategies. This series gained millions of views and caught the attention of well-established brands such as Dunkin' Donuts and Sports Illustrated[6]. Many companies and celebrities would reach out to DelMonte for her PR advice. DelMonte's success on TikTok led her to sign with United Talent Agency[7], and she has continued to use TikTok to share her passion for pop culture and marketing. However, now; she is known as "the internet's agent[6]."
GirlBossTown
[edit]In 2021, Robyn DelMonte founded GirlBossTown, which offers brand strategy, PR, creative direction, and creative direction to companies[3]. She used TikTok to illustrate her passion and understanding of pop culture, PR, and marketing skills which elevated her career. She is better known as @girlbosstown on Instagram and TikTok and has built a self-brand. Her significant following tunes into her content on topics related to personal development, PR, women empowerment, and trend predictions. GirlBossTown pitches campaigns to brands and celebrities as well as makes predictions for future PR strategies that have been adopted by many brands and celebrities[4].
2023
[edit]As of 2023, Robyn DelMonte has continued to build her career in marketing and PR. DelMonte has expanded her reach by speaking at industry events and she has become a prominent consultant for brands and celebrities such as the D'Amelio family. DelMonte recently appeared on Forbes' 2023 30 under 30 list in Marketing and Advertising[2].
Public image
[edit]DelMonte aims to create a more transparent approach of the marketing and advertising industry[7]. She has attempted to provide valuable insights to her followers and other TikTok users in a creative way. Her internet presence has given her the opportunity to host for E! News, be a speaker at AdWeek's Brand Week event, and attend the Golden Globe Awards, People's Choice Awards and Billboard Awards.
Personal life
[edit]In 2014, Robyn DelMonte lost her mother, Christine DelMonte, to cancer. Christine was survived by her four daughters, Robyn being one. Robyn has used her experience of losing her mother to cancer to support a non-profit organization called Experience Camps[4]. Experience Camps provides summer camp programs for grieving children who have lost a loved one[8]. She also uses her platform to share her struggles and grief that she has gone through with the loss of her mother. DelMonte has been involved in recruiting both volunteers and campers for the organization.
