User:Simetrical/Userbox formatting

Challenge: make a userbox that looks like the following, without using tables. Use this as a sandbox if you want, and tell me on my talk page if you manage to pull it off (even on one browser, although something that works for IE is obviously needed if this is going to be used for anything useful).

This is the best I've gotten. It doesn't work in IE, and the right-hand text is not vertically centered.
