Impact
[edit]With more easy access to DAW’s, more school's can use them in music education. DAW's can be implemented in a music education class to show kids how to use them and learn how produce their own music. According to a study done by the Indonesia University of Education, the use of a DAW in music learning can let students build their learning of music production on their own. [1] Another study done by the University of Milan made a DAW that's accessible to kids so that they can get into making music.[2]
The usage of DAW's have also influenced the type of music to come out. With more people learning how to use a DAW, more people working by themselves could have a chance of having a song they made to blow up and become incredibly popular. The usage of DAW can be found in most Hip Hop and EDM music with the use of looping an instrumental. With music production also moving to a laptop can put the music making outside of a studio and into a bedroom.[3]
