Ishita Ganguly is a Indian Television Actress,who got popularity in Colors daily soap Shastri Sisters. Her role of portraying Anushka Shastri opposite Vijayendra Kumeria rose her to fame.Currently,Ishita is playing a negative role in Colors Ishq Ka Rang Safed as Kamini.[1]
Career
[edit]At the age of 13,Ishita was doing Bengali tele-films like Achena Manush and Ekti Chhotto Meyer Golpa.She also did few Bengali serials like Mrs Singha Roy,Annapurna and Bhasha,before moving to Mumbai.
Ishita was approached through her Facebook Profile for her role in Shastri Sisters. She played second eldest siblings along with Sonal Vengurlekar Neha Pednekar and Pragati Choursiya. [2].
Later,she did a parallel role with Priyanshu Jora and Sonia Balani in Star Plus Tu Mera Hero as Juhi.Before her role in Ishq Ka Rang Safed , Ishita also did a episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui with Lavin Gothi.
Personal Life
[edit]Ishita is from Kolkata,West Bengal.She had to move to Mumbai with her parents after she was offered the lead role in Shastri Sisters. She has a brother Sumanta Ganguly. Ishita is currently single.
