Semaganda Shadat is a Civil engineer / transport planner currently employed by the Uganda Road Fund in charge of Planning and Programming. He has been in this position since 2010 before which he has was engaged in many Transport and Civil engineering projects in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Background & Education

Naimanye attended O Level and A Level education at King's College Budo in Wakiso District. He then went to Leeds University where he graduated with BEng (Hons),Civil Engineering with Archtecture in 1995. In 1996 he graduated with MSc (Eng) Transport Planning and Engineering at the same university and went on to graduate with PhD Transport Economics in 2016, still at the same university.

Personal Profile

Naimanye worked for many companies before his current job at Uganda Road Fund. These companies include Waterman Group as an associate director, Halcrow Group/CH2M HILL as an Associate, JMP as a Principal Engineer, White Young Green as a Senior Engineer, Dossor Group as Structural Engineer and GIBB AFRICA as Project Engineer.
