Adjust is a SaaS app marketing platform. The company builds solutions for mobile marketing, marketing automation and ad fraud prevention. It was founded by Christian Henschel, Paul H. Müller and Manuel Kniep in 2012.

History

[edit]

Adjust was founded by Christian Henschel, Paul H. Müller and Manuel Kniep in 2012, in a small apartment in Pankow, northeast Berlin.[2]

In 2018, the company purchased Acquired.io[3], a US-based campaign automation platform, which was the first major acquisition by Adjust. In 2019, Adjust announced a $227m funding round from Eurazeo Growth, Highland Europe, Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners, and Sofina.[4] In the same year, Adjust acquired Unbotify, an Israeli anti-bot fraud technology company.[5]

Software and services

[edit]

Adjust’s mobile attribution product has integration features for IronSource, Unity, Facebook and Twitter.

In 2017, the company also started the Coalition Against Advertising Fraud, a group of firms in the mobile marketing industry aiming to “develop definitions of fraud, come up with ways to measure it, and talk about solutions that take the incentive out of fraud”.[6]
