Lord Percival Sebastian Crofton III (May 25, 1990 - Present) was, first and foremost, an American citizen by birth, though a citizen of nearly every other country by heart. He was also a female by birth, though everyone knows this was just a genetical misunderstanding. He hopes that someday.
Percy was born on a cold afternoon, and he bears no recollection of ever being young. By the time he was a small child, he had already learned the meaning of motivation. He slept under the stars on a hill and in the trees. He still does, at times.
During the span of his life, young Percy has left much to be accomplished. He's hardly read enough books, though he even still reads every day, his school marks aren't quite what they should be, even though studying is a basic past-time, and he likes to bake apple pies and make pumpkin soup and watch the cats fight out on the front porch.
Percy has had various painfully-distracting obsessions throughout the years, consisting of various people or peoples or places or things - any noun, really - and he's at current taken to hiding away from them in order to substain his own happiness.
Mr. Crofton can hardly be considered the world traveller. In fact, the only countries other than the United States that he's visited remain merely Canada, Spain, and France [where he hopes he'll someday live and also believes that he may have perhaps met the love of his life]. He hopes, however, to live in several places during his life, several of the settings being in Europe, while some are in Asia, and others still in the United States.
The man is, as of date, a self-proclaimed existentialist. He has silently debated religion and The Answer in his head for perhaps four years and running, and so far this is the only logical result with which he can come up.
Crofton admits readily to being in lust with Rufus Wainwright, whom he's met with perhaps twice. Things of which he's a large fan: 19th century culture, accidental art, aestheticism, alternative opera, androgyny, antique dolls, being pragmatic, chocolate, coffee shops, death rites, dirty dreams, Discworld, electricity, electronic music, etymology, existentialism, France and its language, Harry Potter, instrumental music, Ireland, launderettes, male prostitutes, medical mysteries, night terrors, novelettes old telephones, onanism, one-sided conversations, Oscar Wilde, painting faces, pansexualism, paper dolls, peacock feathers, pederasts, philosophy, photography, psychosexuality, quills, Radio 4, record shops, Spain and its language, surrealism, synaesthesia, and tea parties, alphabetically speaking.
Percy's favourite authors are Oscar Wilde and Thomas Mann, while his favourite movies happen to be Velvet Goldmine and Amélie.
Mr. Crofton has always been certain of where he's going with his life, projecting this certainty towards a new location weekly. It does tend to cause some confusion.
